  4. Hi sir..i also got such email about winning a prize of rs.3.60 crore and a samsung S6 phone..and they said they are going to deliver it by a person named dip.James Williams who is working for WORLD COURIER SERVICES...he said me to pay rs.24.500 thousand to a account...what should i do ?

    1. Hi Chirag, this is clearly scam email. They r saying u won 3.6 crore n asking u to pay courier charges, which clearly shows its scam. Visits my posts at the end of this article to understand about such scams. Hope after reading these, u will be able to get right decision.

    1. Hi, if u just shared ur bank account info like bank account number then he can not do anything. For safe side, change ur netbanking/ atm or other required access credentials with strong password . immediately. Plz dont share any other details onwards n let others know about such scamsters.

    1. These fraudsters sending these lottery mails to almost all well known mail service providers to target huge number of ppl . Best way to ignore these mails simply and also let others know. Thanks Alex

    1. Simple thing, if u hv not applied for any lottery or not filled any form or anything n still got such offer, then ofcourse something is suspicious. Please go through various articles given at the end to understand about such thing. Thanks.

    1. Hi Ajay, if u just gv them name n address, then no need to worry. Cyber crime department has so many other things do. Such type emails desined to cheat greedy peoples. So if we r controling ourselves no one can cheat u. Also whts the use to contact police after lossing money.

    I received an sms on my samsung phone in South Africa that reads as follows: Dear cell owner we noticed that Ur R295,000 is still unclaimed from SAMSUNG promo Ref no (SR2P) for payout kindly contact help line 0785931204.
    I did call the number immediately and asked them to send the money western union but they said they would send a cheque instead if I sms'd my name and home address - they are targetting Johannesburg and Cape Town people. I did sms my name and home address but they can't scam me with just that information can they?? Can they be busy with identity theft?

    1. Hi Hilary, Correct,if u just gv them name n address, then no need to worry, they cant cheat u using that info. But if they are trying to contact u and ask to pay money. Simply ignore n dont transfer any money. Thanks.
